UNIFORM AND EQUIPTMENT REGULATIONSThe UAL uniform consists of BDU/DCU Top, and bottom with combat boots
Black Leather, Black Jungle, Green Jungle, and Desert Sued out combat boots are authorized for wear with both the Green (BDU) and the Desert (DCU) uniforms
BDU/DCU Top:
The BDU/DCU top will have affixed to it: UAL unit patch, last name tape, UAL branch tape, Reversed American Flag, and Velcro square for optional uniform items.
Basic’s:
The last name tape will be affixed above the right pocket, and will bear the members last name. The UAL branch tape will be affixed above the left pocket and will bear the letters: UAL. The nametapes will match the color of the Uniform being worn. The UAL patch will be worn on the left shoulder sleeve approximately ½ inch to ¼ of an inch from the seam. The Velcro square will be directly beneath the UAL unit patch. The Reversed American Flag will be worn on the right sleeve approximately ½ inch to ¼ of an inch from the seam and centered. Rank insignia will be worn on the collar. Enlisted will wear one on each collar, and officers will wear one insignia on the Right collar.
The first picture is of the UAL patch and velcro with optional uniform items. The second picture is the Reversed American flag patch as worn with optional Combat Patch for those authorised. The last picture is the Reversed American Flag patch as worn without a Combat Patch

Skills badges:
The only current UAL skills badges that are authorized for wear with the UAL uniform are the indirect fire support insignia for those that are qualified, and the air-crewman’s wings for those that are qualified. Any other earned Military Skills Badges are approved with prior permission from the UAL commander.
BDU/DCU bottom:
The BDU/DCU bottom will be the same camouflage pattern as the top. The pants will be worn with the top either tucked in or worn outside of the pants, as dictated by the commander. The pants will be worn bloused, tucked-in, to the boots at all times.
Headgear:
Standard headgear for wear with the UAL uniform will be the BDU/DCU cap, or the “boonie” hat. This will be chosen by the discretion of the wearer. The Standard "Kevlar" and "MICH/ACH" Helmet are also authorised at the descretion of the wearer. Also the Maroon Beret w/ Flash is also authorized for wear with the uniform for those who are qualified.
Equipment Regulations:
Uniformity on almost all levels is viewed as necessary for the UAL. It is also understood that some members do not possess the capital to maintain an expensive set of Gear. Therefore, there are many types of gear that are authorized, but are also limited to:
Tactical Vest’s:
Tactical vest’s are authorized for wear while participating with UAL at events, not limited to Airsoft Operations. The vest must be of the same style as the Blackhawk Omega series of vest. It must have a pistol belt so that canteens and other necessary equipment can be added. It is preferred that this gear be O.D. Green.
Load Bearing Vest:
Load Bearing Vest’s of the type currently issued to the U.S. Armed forces are the preferred piece of gear for carrying ammunition, and equipment while participating with UAL at events. It must also have a pistol belt so that canteens and other equipment can be added. It is preferred that this gear be woodland camouflage and O.D. Green.
MOLLE vest’s and Chest Rigs:
Modular Lightweight Loadcarrying Equipment (MOLLE) is also authorized for wear while participating with UAL at events. Since this equipment is modular, it is preferred that it be either O.D. Green, Coyote Brown, or Woodland Camouflage.
ALICE:
All-purpose Lightweight Loadcarrying Equipment is also authorized for wear while participation with UAL at events. It will consist of: pistol belt, suspenders, canteens, and ammunition pouches. It is preferred that this gear be O.D. Green.
